ABOUT THE DESIGNER
What was your first knife?
My first knife was a small Old Timer pocket knife. My dad carried the larger stockman version every day. Next one after that was a leather handled British commando knife.
Do you collect anything, or have a hobby that consumes you?
Much to the dismay of everyone around me I am obsessed with the ancient native history of the area I live in. Village sites, artifacts and mound builders.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what is it?
Fried Chicken or BBQ. As you can see from my physique that is what I generally eat.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is Groundhog Day. Any movie that shows the egotistical guy living the same day every day but finally getting the girl should be a knifemaker classic.
What’s the worst movie you have ever seen?
Predestination. Awful.
If money is no object, do you build the ultimate overland rig, or a high horsepower pavement monster?
Overland rig - classic Land Cruiser. I loved those back in the day before they were $30k.
Do you carry the same EDC items daily or do you mix it up?
